• The BSB is the Board with the objectives to provide modern Education with base of Indian Treditional knowledge and ethos.
  • The BSB has been envisioned for PAN India presence through its own and affiliated schools spread all over the country and other countries across the world.
  • Through its extensive presence, BSB shall provide the best options for parents with transferable jobs/shifting from one place to another.
  • The Board believes in the policy of transparency and functional autonomy to its schools under the ambit of norms of the Board/concerned State Education Department or the Education department of the country concerned abroad
  • The curriculum provided by BSB is based on National Curriculum Framework-2005 and NEP-2020, to provide opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning and becoming worthy human being, outstanding global citizen.
  • The BSB extends flexibility to students to pick subjects of their choice from a basket of many subjects enabling students to freely opt for subjects of their choice (except for few pairs of similar subjects). The BSB does not bind students in streams.
  • The BSB curriculum provides ample scope for the physical, intellectual, and social development of students by integrating innovations in pedagogy, knowledge, and application.
  • In order to bring in transparency and efficacy in its procedures and to provide easy access of its services to its stakeholders, the Board has plan to make most of its procedures online, viz, Online School Affiliation & Monitoring System, Online Exam Centre Management System, E- Pariksha, etc.
  • The BSB offers skill education courses in collaboration with various professional organizations and the Patanjali Group.
  • The BSB encourages innovative approaches in teaching, learning and Evaluation. The revamped Bye-Laws provide opportunities to encourage Innovative schools in the field of skill development, sports, arts, science, etc.
  • The Board provides platform to its students to excel in sports at Cluster/ Zonal and National level every year.
  • The BSB has Schemes to award scholarships to students under various categories based on eligibility and merit.
  • The Board lays stress on safety and security of its students as per provisions mentioned in NCPCR & NDMA guidelines.
  • The Board has the provision to organize various training programmes for its teachers and principals to enhance their understanding of curriculum and delivery mechanism and other professional qualities.
  • The BSB has the infrastructure to provide results on the BSB website(s) and also through other mediums such as Digilocker, mobile apps, IVRS, SMS, Search Engine, etc. The schools get their schools result on registered email id’s .
  • The post result processes of Class X & Class XII shall be online on the BSB website to make system expeditious, transparent and hassle free for students.
  • The BSB shall provides free of cost Psychological counselling to Class X & XII exam aspirants through students and trained counsellors.
  • The BSB shall open Regional Office and the Center of Excellence with the growth of affiliation to facilitate schools, teachers and students.
  • The BSB offers hassle free, transparent Online Affiliation System starting from submission of application to final approval.
  • To promote inclusive education, the Board has made provision of extending exemptions/concessions extended to Children with Special Needs (CWSN) students.
  • The BSB plans to provide podcast platform entitled-“BSB Sandesh”- to disseminate crucial information related to the Board’s activities in a timely, educative, lucid and seamless manner for utility by BSB affiliated/associated schools fraternity.
  • The BSB affiliates schools for the purpose of Board Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary level or similar stages in 5+3+3+4 pattern.

  • The Board has provisions in innovation in teaching-learning methodologies by devising student centered paradigms.
  • The Board strives for continuous reforms in examination and evaluation practices.
  • The Vocational curriculum designed students is industry-oriented and focuses from academics to employability.
  • The Board is committed to upgrading the pedagogical skills of teachers by conducting in-service training programmes and workshops, etc.
  • The Board encourages best teaching practices through yearly the BSB and National awards for outstanding teachers/school leaders in various disciplines.
  • The BSB proposes Sahodaya schools (Group of neighbourhood schools) to share innovative practices in all aspects of school education including curriculum, design, evaluation and pedagogy and also providing support services for teachers and students.
  • The Board with the policy framework for affiliated schools to share, co-operate and learn from each other by forming a small group of schools as Hubs of Learning to raise the standard of school education in the country.
  • The Board has specific land norms with provision for change as per the geo=sociological needs for schools located in Municipal limits of cities, hilly areas, Northeastern states, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, NCR region, Island, Municipal authorities of Metropolitan cities of Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
  • The school is required to upload the only certificate issued by District Education Officer as per appendix II or III as applicable of Affiliation Bye-Laws along with affidavit as per appendix IV as compared to the earlier provision to submit various documents at the time of application for Affiliation.
  • The BSB ensures adequate infrastructure in affiliated schools such as spacious and functional building, classrooms, well-equipped labs, halls, open fields, games equipment and sanitation facilities, libraries, provisions for different labs like physics, chemistry, computer science and biology, art and craft workshops, playgrounds, assembly area, multimedia rooms boost the overall development of the child.
  • The BSB lays the stress of regular training of teachers assumes greater significance in the wake of the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act-2009 to ensure the target achievement proposed in the Act.
