Policy Reforms

The Bharatiya Shiksha Board (BSB) designs its Vocational Education curriculum in complete alignment with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).

Courses are structured from Level 1 (Class 9) to Level 4 (Class 12), ensuring students gain knowledge and skills step by step, with clear pathways to higher education or employment.

Each curriculum module is developed in collaboration with Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) and industry experts to meet real labor market needs.

Classroom teaching is combined with hands-on practice, labs, internships, and community projects, ensuring experiential learning.

Students completing vocational subjects under NSQF can pursue further education in polytechnics, skill universities, or higher academic studies, without losing academic equivalence.

In addition to technical skills, emphasis is placed on communication, problem-solving, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship, preparing learners for diverse career opportunities.

Through NSQF alignment, BSB ensures that vocational education is recognized nationally and internationally, providing students with certified, flexible, and future-ready learning pathways.
